FAQ
Q: What is a Moto Rodeo?
A Moto Rodeo is a competition where riders test their skills on motorcycles by navigating an obstacle course set up with tons of cones. In this event we will have a larger main pattern and a smaller pattern where riders can receive instruction and guidance on how to best maneuver through the course.
Q: Is this a women's only event or can men come as a spectator, participant, or competitor?
This is not a women's only event, everyone is welcome to attend! *All participants & competitors must have a valid motorcycle license and bring their own bikes*
Q: What are the competition rules and do I need to purchase a participant ticket as well if I want to compete?
The competition is open to everyone 18 years or older with a valid motorcycle license. Those wishing to compete only need to purchase a Competitor ticket. This ticket grants you unlimited riding time during the event and the opportunity to compete in the timed trial. The rider that has the fastest and cleanest run will win prizes from our sponsors.
Q: Do you offer rental bikes for the event?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer motorcycles to rent for the event
Q: What's the age limit for the event?
All participants must be 18 years or older to
Q: Are tickets available for purchase at the gate?
Yes! Ticketing will still be open the day of the event
Q: Will there be food and water at the event?
Yes! There will be plenty of water stations and food available for purchase
Q: What should I bring if I want to be a spectator?
Please bring whatever you need to be comfortable! Chairs, snacks, water, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc...

Police Motor Skills - Advanced Motorcycle Training
The Police Motors Skills course (PMS), designed and taught by retired police motor officer J. Reincke. This course delivers a comprehensive curriculum of police motor drills used in training programs across North America.
The objective of the Police Motors Course is to offer advanced and specialized training for motorcyclists with their M1 endorsement, who wish to gain a higher level of skill as well as an understanding of how their motorcycle operates.
This is an all day 8-hour course from 9am - 5pm. There will be a break for lunch.
In this course you will learn:
Body positioning using counter-balance
Proficient clutch control and throttle control
Aiming - utilizing effective head turns and eye placement to influence path of travel
Effective use of brakes for stability and in emergency situations
What’s Required:
M1 License
Must provide your own motorcycle
Limited Motorcycle Rentals available for an additional $100

Canyons and lollipops
We are back for another great year of motorcycle training!
This two part course features a mini track to practice proper cornering techniques (body positioning, looking through turns, countersteering, etc…) Get a chance to hone in your skills for riding through those canyon roads!
The second exercise is a slow speed maneuvering drill: The DMV Lollipop. This section will focus on where to look, body position, throttle and clutch control all to help maintain stability and control when riding slow.

Car Doors & Obstacles
This two part course features a swerving exercise to help avoid those “car doors” or worse! As well as, practicing techniques for running over potentially dangerous objects that can be scattered throughout city streets.

Swerving
First: Practice to understand how to use countersteering effectively to move out of the way of incoming hazards and understanding key techniques to help maintain traction and control.
Second: Instructors will prompt riders to swerve on signal- this will help reduce anticipation and act as if you would in a situation on the road.

Picadilly loop and Oh sh*t!
In this session, you will have the opportunity to participate in two engaging drills. The first drill is called the "Oh Sh*t" drill, which will help you improve your ability to stop suddenly while in a turn. This exercise is designed to enhance your control and technique in high-pressure situations. Following that, we will move on to the "Piccadilly Loop" drill. This exercise will challenge you to navigate through traffic while performing a higher speed figure-eight. By combining speed and traffic management, this drill will test and refine your riding skills.

We are back for another great year of motorcycle training!
Join us February 3rd to practice emergency braking, clutch control & throttle control through weaves, as well as improving balance on the motorcycle with our California rolls without putting your feet down.
